Yeah - that will be your fully-integrated way to go - as far as WP is concerned.

Thanks for the search...might have to rethink "logged in user" as author and add the author back in to css. Testing that experience from user's perspective.

I don't think Jetpack allows you to edit/change what shows up in your RSS feed. So far, after a quick search for WordPress plugins, I haven't found anything that will let you edit what shows up in your RSS feed, leading me to believe that you'll have to either get someone to write you a plugin, or make the change to the RSS file as shown in the support link above (this isn't ideal as each update to WordPress will undo this edit).

Thanks. I'm using jetpack so maybe that's where I should look? Appreciate the links to help! I have spent hours trying to determine how the default 'author' is being pulled in! Set up a "dummy" default and if i could just switch to that, that would be workaround!

Changing your RSS feeds isn't something that Gravity Forms can do. It is potentially complex to change what is displayed in your WordPress RSS feed.

I was able to hide the author's name per recent assistance here (Rob) -- but even though a logged in author doesn't show up on each user-generated blog post, the feed that goes out with recent posts is still pulling in "?author=1".

Is there a way to update so that the author is not showing up?
