If I only have one category selected as an option, and I make the Post Category field visible to everyone, that field will always save. However, if I make it visible only to admins, it will save instead as Uncategorized. We will look into why the post category isn't stored when it is set to admin only. One thing I have to ask is if you have a hidden category field assigning one category, why don't you just set the default category to that category? Seems redundant. The drop-down only has one category selected (pdf).</p> <p>When I fill in the form, it goes through ok, but instead of adding the post to the 'pdf' category, it adds it to uncategorised.</p> <p>Because uncategorised is the default category, I am wondering if it is just bypassing that section of the form. </p>
