OK, I think that should be fine. But do not take my word for it. Check the backup after it is created to be sure you ran it correctly and it backed up all the tables in your WordPress database.

Excellent thanks. I am using... WordPress Database Backup (wp-db-backup)

From here: http://austinmatzko.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-db-backup/

I just noticed you edited this reply after my reply. If you have the option to backup all those tables, in addition to the WordPress tables, please do so. That should take care of everything in the database. Just check once the backup is complete to be sure you have everything

It depends on what you are using to backup the database. How are you going to do it?

Again, whatever solution you use, just check the backup to be sure everything is there as expected and is usable.

A database backup will include all the forms, Gravity Forms settings and all the entries. Just make sure custom tables are backed up, not just default WordPress tables. Gravity Forms uses its own tables to store data in your WordPress database.

As with any backup, be sure to test it before you need it.

Will a backup of the WP Database include all information previously entered or just the forms. I am about to use this program for a tournament that is the world's largest! Recently i lost some test information that had been entered. So i need a solution that backs up both the forms and the data withing them. Will a regular DB backup do this please? Also i have the following available for backup:

wp_rg_form
wp_rg_form_meta
wp_rg_form_view
wp_rg_lead
wp_rg_lead_detail
wp_rg_lead_detail_long
wp_rg_lead_meta
wp_rg_lead_notes
wp_rg_paypalpro
wp_rg_paypalpro_transaction
wp_woocommerce_attribute_taxonomies
wp_woocommerce_downloadable_product_permissions
wp_woocommerce_termmeta

Will all previously entered data be included within this option please?

In the Inport/Export area there is both an export for forms and an export for data within forms. Also, backing up your database is good practice, and if you restore your GF tables, you can usually get your forms and data back, and if you can't, usually our fix meta plugin on the download page solves the issue.

I saw where you can export the data, but I didn't see where to export the actual form. And, I've recently found -- after having done a domain name change on my Multisite -- that form data within the database file can be lost. That being said, how would I go about backing up just my Gravity Form's forms?

Thank you,

You can export the forms, and you can export the data. Also, a backup of your database will include Gravity Forms tables. There are lots of great backup plugins for WordPress.
