This thread is a little old, but I would love to see Batchbooks integration with Gravity Forms. I know that Gravity Forms integrates with MailChimp and FreshBooks, two services that Batchbooks also integrates with, and it would be a natural extension for Batchbooks and Gravity forms to be integrated as well.

Anyone can use the available hooks/filters and build their own customizations and even add-ons using them. With the launch of our new site, all of our hooks/filters are also documented in the new Documentation.

It can be viewed here:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Developer_Docs

When using hooks/filters you place your custom code either in your themes functions.php file OR via a new custom plugin you create. Never edit/modify the core Gravity Forms code itself as it can cause issues and make updates difficult for you to manage.

hey guys... if i am not mistaken the hook functionality will allow gravity forms to at the very least add leads to batchbook pretty easily through the api or to other crms like highrise, heap crm, aweber, zoho etc...

i purchased the developer addition... i am not sure if hooks are considered plugins and it is limited to that version alone or they work with any addition of gravity forms...

FYI to all: Kurt has an API integration scripting platform that allows some really cool connections. See http://webformglue.com. He allready has integrated CRMS with several of the pay per month form solutions but I think he could easily bring a lot of his users to gravity forms if an integration could be worked out.

Hi All,

We can and have set up Gravity Forms -> BatchBook integrations for paying customers.

@Carl: I'd really like to see WebHooks added to Gravity Forms. Right now we have to parse the notification emails in order to build an integration between Gravity and any 3rd party API. This works, but it's not very elegant or easy to set up. With WebHooks, it would be much easier to build custom integrations between Gravity Forms and any 3rd party application that offers a REST API.

Gravity Forms is an excellent forms-plugin, but it would be much more powerful if it could also post to WebHooks.

Kurt

have you made your plugin architecture public? if so I could hire a programmer to program such a plugin...

otherwise is it outside the license for me to pay someone to modify the code to support something like batchbook?

@iandymorris There is no way to integrate Gravity Forms with 3rd party services the way OptimizePress does because OptimizePress doesn't really integrate with those services. When you paste Javascript from MailChimp, etc. into OptimizePress you are simply embedding a MailChimp (or AWeber or Batchbooks) form on your OptimizePress site. There is no actual integration.

Gravity Forms is different, it's a full features form creation and management tool. In order to integrate with a 3rd party service you can't copy-n-paste some javascript and everything will just work. There has to be integration between Gravity Forms and the API of the 3rd party service.

We plan on looking at BatchBooks integration later this year. Until we release Gravity Forms v1.5, the final 1.0 version of the User Registration and PayPal Add-Ons we aren't starting new development. Once those are released as final releases we will look at additional Add-Ons such as AWeber, etc.

hey guys... i was planning on purchasing gravity forms but realized that i need it to work with batchbook as I am really using that a lot and it has been tremendously useful.

here is a thought... programs like http://optimizepress.com and http://www.ultimatefooterad.com/ (both valuable projects that I love and have purchased multidomain license for) have an interesting javascript code that allows you to paste in the form code from your provider... whether it be batchbook, aweber, mailchimp, almost any other cloud vender that gives it's user predone forms. it takes out the code necesary for submitting information and possibly validation and then puts it's own predone skin around it. of interest is that optimize press is also a native wordpress them so you might want to look at it and see how they do that.

if you were to ad this functionality then you could automatically make potentially hundreds of integrations with one foul swoop and also make everyone one of those integrations into a marketing chanel (i.e. the user base for each cloud app- hopefully you could get each cloud app to be affiliats of yours and push it). just a thought.

Batchbook forms are useful but plain. But using the optimize press backend I created the following form you see here on this squeeze page http://iandymorris.com. it looks like it is not a bathbook form but data is dumped straight into that crm.

If you have this or any other way of getting data from gravity forms to batchbook I will purchase for sure. I will likely be purchasing either way. Not a client yet as I was in the research stage but I know your product comes highly recomended by another marketer who uses it for all her clients.

Also if you want a wordpress admin login to check out and fool with the functionality I mentioned to see if you want to model some of it then message me and I will oblige for sure.
