Hi Bklahrke,

If you're looking for affordable hosting check out http://bluehost.com. I've used them for several clients sites using Gravity Forms without issue.

Hi Carl,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The emails are not going into any spam filters, and I have even tried using that SMTP WP Plugin to help, using the GMAIL settings (with a GMAIL account of course), and I always get an error;

An error was encountered while trying to send the test e-mail.
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
Failed to connect to server
Connection timed out
-----------
My hosting service have been completely unhelpful! See below;

Billy : Am I on a server that doesn't allow BCC through PHP forms?
peter: Are you trying to send mails using PHP script ?
Billy : Yes, I believe so... does that make the difference?
peter: You have to manage your script by yourself
peter: there might be some problem with coding
-----------
No emails that are sent via the form are being received.
-----------
Can you tell me a reliable hosting company to use, so I can switch and have problem free forms, like how it should be :)

Who do you use?

Kind regards,

Bklahrke

Email is sent by your web server, so if you were receiving emails before and are not now then this could be an issue with your web server. Also be sure to check your spam box, etc. to make sure your spam filter is not catching them.

I'm not sure what SMTP has to do with the BCC, it sounds like they don't allow scripts to send email directly which is unusual as most hosts do support it. You may want to try installing and configuring the WP Mail SMTP plugin which you can find here:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

You will have to check with your host for the proper SMTP settings.

Another question, is your email for that domain name hosted by your web host or do you have your email hosted elsewhere such as Google Apps? Is the issue you aren't receiving email at that domain name or are emails sent to any email not arriving?

As for MailChimp, if you have the Business or Developer License you have access to the MailChimp Add-On that lets you integrate your forms with MailChimp to add subscribers automatically when a form is filled out.

Hi,

Having a major problem with the BCC notifications...

"We don't allow remote SMTP connections.
Please visit: http://www.justhost.com/mail-policy

No Direct SMTP mailers are allowed. An example of this is DarkMailer. Any mail should be relayed through the local MTA (localhost:25) for further delivery by the server and not done directly by scripts."

What on earth does that mean?

Can I use the MailChimp plugin and integrate into my form so that when a user fills out the form it is then sent via MailChimp, with all the correct info gathered from the form?

Or is there a simple solution? 'cause I'm starting to get frustrated :(

Cheers in advanced,

Bklahrke
