+1 for a built in option to map the BuddyPress Profile Avatar to a File Upload field!

Any development here?

@d3xta Yes, I don't see why you couldn't do this. However, notifications are designed to be sent to a single email address. If you are wanting them to input multiple email addresses to send the email notification to multiple people... it might require some custom code to aggregate all of the email addresses and pass it to the notifications correctly.

Thanks for the reply @CarlHancock I personally think it would make a great feature now Buddypress removed the ability to do it themselves during signup. :-)

One other question if you don't mind.....

Can Gravity forms be used to create a form where a user can input email addresses and basically invite their friends to that site?

Thanks!

James.

Gravity Forms User Registration Add-On does not support uploading a BuddyPress profile avatar. It could certainly be done as a customization with custom code, but it is not a built in option to map the BuddyPress Profile Avatar to a File Upload field on the form.

I do not use BuddyPress so I assumed most people just used the Gravatar service for avatars which is WordPress does by default. I wasn't aware BuddyPress had it's own avatar system.

I can add this to our internal feature request list because it would make a good feature for the User Registration Add-On for BuddyPress users.

Hey Guys is 4 days adequate time for a response? I'm sure your busy and all, but seeing as this is a 'pre-purchase' forum - I would have thought not!

Thanks.

Hi

Can you tell if GF has the ability to create a Buddypress User Registration form which incorporates an uploader so a new member can add their user avatar at the signup stage, just like Facebook?

Thanks

James.
