Your theme may include the [raw] shortcode. If it does, try wrapping the Gravity Form shortcode with the [raw]shortcode[/raw]. This is only a guess but it is something we see quite a bit.</p> <p>If that does not do it, please activate the Twenty Eleven theme and see if the spacing is still there.
