Behavior such as this will happen when you are running out of available PHP memory and the WordPress dashboard will start behaving in erratic fashion and eventually you'll just get the whitescreen of death as it's called in WordPress.</p> <p>I would suggest increasing your available PHP memory. How much PHP memory does your site have assigned to it? I would suggest increasing the available PHP memory.
