You can enable an anti-spam honeypot on each form, it is one of the form settings. You can integrate forms into testing against Akismet rules, which seems to work for most people, but not all, since their algorithm for testing spam can sometimes be thrown off by the type of information people are collecting. You can use other types of CAPTCHA like math captchas or image ones.

I hope that helps.

When I started using Gravity Forms a few years ago, I thought using Captcha with the forms was 'obviously' the way to go. Unfortunately, it created quite a challenge for most people filling out the form.

Somewhere along the line I seem to remember that Gravity Forms is doing something that might make it not as important that we use Captcha, so I removed the use of Captcha and haven't received any spam from any of the sites that don't use it anymore.

Now I don't remember what it was that I read about Gravity Forms that implied that you are doing some things to catch potential spammers that may not require the use of Captcha.

So I would appreciate some feedback about the use vs non-use of Captcha and what protections Gravity Forms already has in place for those of us not using Captcha.

-- Thanks, Roger
