Make it Admin Only. And Make it checkboxes. Then simply don't use it. We're using gravity forms to let users add new posts to the system and choose what category it should go in.</p> <p>Unfortunately the Category field under Post Fields will not display parent - child relationships so because of this limitation, we then decided to use the Custom Fields Gravity Forms plugin to achieve this. It inserts categories in a drop down menu by checking "Populate with a Taxonomy". It works great and keeps the hierarchy like it should.</p> <p>But now my huge dilemma is that I'm also using the Title and Body Post Fields and in a setting in those is also adding a Category to each post because we're not using the "official" Category from Post Fields.</p> <p>So my question is how in the heck can I get this to work correctly? I don't want to go hacking together code in all of our templates to just exclude some random category to get around this issue, so how can we get GF to ignore the category altogether but still use the Title and Body Post Fields?</p> <p>Thanks,<br /> dan </p>
