Anyway, to save time I created a new form, with minimal fields, title, post body, and 3 category drop-down fields, all with validation and a placeholder, but still no validation message if a category is not selected.</p> <p>I have also tried this on another server/Wordpress install, ( a very minimal form) and also on my test (localhost) server, same issue. </p> <p>I have looked through the forum, but haven't found anything related to this. As we have about 200 categories on the site, this is very important that our users select a category when submitting.</p> <p>Any help would be appreciated, thank you.</p> <p>Regards </p>
