Yes, if he purchases Gravity Forms he can go to the Gravity Forms Settings page on his site, copy-n-paste his own license key into the license key field and save the settings. This will then switch his site over to his license key.

Hello, I have a client that has a website that I am using gravity forms on and he asked if he were to buy a license, could he just use the existing plugin by changing the license without loosing any work that was done? This way he could get support on his own which is one thing he is interested in.
