I'm essentially building a getting things done app. There is a form on the site that a user enters a task for that day. This creates a post listing the user's name and the task they created.

I need to insert a checkbox into these posts that the user can check off when they've completed the task.

Hopefully that clears up what I'm hoping to accomplish. Thanks for your input!

Can you maybe better explain with an example what you're trying to accomplish? There's a form that creates a post - and that post has a form (or at least a checkbox)... I guess I'm wondering what the purpose of the checkbox on the front end is.

Anyone? I'd love to implement this kind of functionality!

I have a form that creates a post from the input.

Could you please post a walkthrough explaining how to include a checkbox in these user created posts that can then be toggled (checked or unchecked) from the front end and saves the state to the database on toggle?

Cheers,
John
