Are you talking about field input or what is in the notifications section in the back-end?

Sure. But there is no doubt that you process that input before it goes through wp_mail().

Have you been having issues with notifications?

Also, I'm not sure exactly what you mean in terms of the Send to Mail input. If you mean the form notifications section, then yes, if you want to send to multiple people, the built-in WordPress sendmail file (wp-mail.php) that Gravity Forms hooks into wants the comma delimited list to not have any spaces.

It may still work on some environments, but I'm not certain. This isn't a Gravity Forms limitation, but instead a WordPress one.

I read a post on here that you can't have spaces in the "Send to Mail" input. If it hasn't been working this whole time because of this reason, that would be very silly validation.
