So, I could start with a small form that expanded once it was partially filled in.</p> <p>Ideally the submit button would be conditional too. A simple scenario would be:</p> <p>I have a 10 field form<br /> Initially only 5 fields show<br /> Once field 5 is complete, fields 6 - 10 are revealed along with the submit button</p> <p>The benefit is that:</p> <p>1) A small form could be droped into a page unobtrusively and would only expose itself fully on user interaction<br /> 2) A form can be made to appear simpler and less off putting encouraging users to begin completing it </p>
