@RichardBest This isn't a conflict, whats happening is the Members plugin is doing it's job and your role doesn't have the necessary capabilities to display Gravity Forms.

Depending on what order you activate Gravity Forms and the Members plugin, the capabilities don't automatically get added. This is because they can't be automatically added.

What you need to do is activate Members and Gravity Forms, then use Members to edit the Admin Role and add all of the Gravity Forms capabilities to the Admin Role. You don't see it because Members isn't granting you access to it.

Hi All - I think there is a conflict between Gravity Forms and the Members plugin. I've experienced this on a couple of different sites now running the latest stable release of GF and the latest version of WP. Installing Members results in the GF menu disappearing. Disabling Members results in it being visible again.

Would be great if this could be fixed as Members is a super plugin. I've had to opt for a different access manager plugin in the meantime.

Cheers
Richard

There may be a conflict with another plugin, but the Members plugin is very good and I recommend it highly. It would be worth figuring out what the conflict is and resolving it if possible. What does not work exactly?

However, there are other plugins that may work (I have limited experience with them though):
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/capsman/ (not current)
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/ (current)

Search at WordPress.org:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=capabilities

You can use the Members plugin from Justin Tadlock. You can then assign all the Gravity Forms permissions to whatever user role you give her. You could even create a new role for her specifically with whatever permissions you want her to have, including the Gravity Forms permissions.

One thing to note: if you have already installed Gravity Forms and install the Members plugin after, your Forms menu will disappear. You need to edit the administrator role to give it (yourself) access to all the Gravity Forms capabilities. Here's a screenshot of assigning the capabilities.

http://min.us/mcDPYtu#2

The link to assign capabilities to the administrator role is under Users > Roles > then under Administrator there will be an edit link, like this for your domain:

http://www.example.com/wp-admin/users.php?page=roles&action=edit&role=administrator

If you need any help setting that up please let us know.

Hi there, I've set Gravity forms up for a client of mine, but i'm hesitant to make her an "Admin" user... I don't want her messing with things like forms, but i need her to have access to form entries through the Wordpress Admin... She is set up as a "content editor" right now - is there any way i can give her access to form entries without making her an admin user ?
