Hey All,

I'll give it another try and ask again. Hopefully someone knows and just missed this post.

Is there any way to upload a post image thumbnail (this part works) and make it a link to it's full size image (don't know how to do this part)? I'm using a content template to upload the post image, but have no idea how to make it link to it's full size original.

Thanks,
Sel

Ok, so I was able to figure out the image alignment part in my content template which is great. The only problem I have now is creating a link to the image.

I have a thumbnail being posted in the upper left hand corner of my post, but I would like it to be a link to the original image itself. I use a plugin called Fancy Zoom that when any link to an image is clicked, the original will pop up in a lightbox type display.

Could anyone guide me to set that up in the content template? I've tried placing link tags around the attach image field and inserting another full size attach image field for the destination, but that didn't seem to work out.

Here's what I have so far...

<p align=left>{Attach Image:3:thumbnail:left}</p>{MyPostField:2}

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I've found some really good info in the forums about posting images with content templates, but I'm still kind of unsure of the formatting required. After I select my text content as well as "Attach Image" from the Insert Merge Tag drop down, and then select the image size and alignment, do I have to include every bit of mark up to control the post text and image?

For example, my left align image ends up left aligned, but at the bottom of the post, and my GD Star Rating stars seems to run right over it.

And how about if I wanted to make the (thumbnail) image a link in case people wanted to view the original size. Would that also have to be added somehow to the content template?

Thanks,
