Hi,

I'm setting up the same process on WPMU, i.e. user selects payment plan from the primary site -> redirect to registration form* -> redirect to paypal -> successful payment -> a new sub-domain site is created.

*the registration form accepts details of the site like site title and site url.

At the moment, I am using the 'Test' mode for the paypal form with 'Register user and create site only when a payment is received. ' selected. However, after paypal sandbox payment the user or the site are not created. The user exists in the wp_rg_lead_detail table but not in wp_users and there is no trace of the site details in wp_blogs table or elsewhere.

Does the 'create user and site function' NOT work in the paypal 'Test' mode?

Make sure you are running the latest version of both the User Registration Add-On and the PayPal Add-On (they are on the Add-On Downloads Page). The option to change the users role will appear on the PayPal feed settings. It will only appear if it's a Subscription transaction type, it will not appear on a one time payment transaction type.

I just tested this and here is what I see: http://i.imgur.com/hBAHe.png

I'm not seeing the option to change the user's role when the paypal subscription is cancelled. I only get one User Registration option, which is to "Register user only when a payment is received.". I'm using IPN on this domain, on WP 3.2.1, GF 1.5.2.8.

Please help.

It depends on how you configure the PayPal Settings when combined with the User Registration Add-On. If the form is configured to use the User Registration Add-On then additional options will appear in the PayPal Settings when using the PayPal Add-On. These additional options let you configure what happens when a subscription is canceled.

For users you can choose to change their role when the subscription is canceled.

For sites you can choose to either deactivate or delete the site when the subscription is canceled.

Gravity Forms currently does not have editing capabilities other than the ability to edit entries within the WordPress admin itself. So users can't edit existing data using Gravity Forms.

We are planning on adding the ability to allow users to edit data created using Gravity Forms in a future release. It is currently planned for the 1.7 release where we will be introducing functionality around displaying entry data on the front end and editing entry data and posts on the front end using existing forms.

Thanks, Sounds like the answers I was hoping for. I also forgot a couple of important questions.

What happens to the persons account (site) if they cancel the subscription. What does the ex-subscriber see and is this action configurable?

Can you edit posts, pages, and/or profile fields with Gravity Pro?

You can use a Gravity Form to replace the WP sign up page using the User Registration Add-On if that is what you want to do.

I'm not sure if it will work with blog template plugins that copy default blog settings or not so I can't answer this. It uses default WordPress functions to do the site creation so I guess it would depend on how those blog template plugins function and which hooks they use.

Yes, it includes options for selecting the sitename, URL, username, password and custom fields.

It uses default WordPress functionality for user creation so it's really going to depend on how the other plugins operate and which hooks they use to determine if it's going to be compatible or not. It's difficult to say. As far as the default role goes, thats a setting when configuring the user registration settings.

Hello, I'm trying to decide if I will purchase. I already own developers license from another powerful form designer plugin, however I'm interested in your "site creation on register/signup" feature. I need to know more about it... the demo isn't MultiSite so I have plenty of questions.

Does this feature replace the WP-signup Page?
Would it likely work with blog template plugins that copy default blog settings on signup?
Does the registration form include an option for selecting the following: sitename and url, username, password and custom fields?
Does this play reasonably well with other plugins that might fire after the user has been created like default role plugins etc...

Thanks for assistance I'm excited at the possibilities!
