<p>You should never change core files. We have an advanced hooks and filters set-up that would allow you to put changes in your theme's functions.php file. Though, your best bet for the UK would probably be to use separate fields to collect the address. All my best!

<p>I am trying to understand how to add a custom address type as most of my customers are from the UK. I have already edited it into common.php however when there is an update to the pluggin this file seems to be replaced and I loose my UK address field.<br />
Is there anywhere i can add code that will work and not get replaced when there is an update?
