I think the BuddyPress update would possibly make it worse, certainly not better. We revised the User Registration add-on to better integrate with the BuddyPress profile feeds. It's a beta version but it's very stable, and resolves these issues. If you would like to try it, please send me an email at chris@rocketgenius.com and I will send you the very latest to see if that resolves your issue with the profile fields. Please include a link to this topic in your email. Thank you.

It looks like we have Buddypress v 1.6.3 and version 1.4 of the User Registration add-on. There is definitely a Buddypress update that we can install... would that fix the problem?

What version of the User Registration add-on are you using, and what version of BuddyPress? You may need a newer version of the User Registration add-on where some of these XProfile bugs were squashed.

We have a paid membership site that has a custom registration form we built with Gravity forms. We are also using the PayPal add-on and the User Registration add-on to create their account after they've paid through Paypal. (We have the Mailchimp add-on in there too so they also get added to a Mailchimp list for members).

Everything is working great, but it seems that not all of the user information is getting pulled back into wordpress once the account is created -- The main wordpress profile fields, like Name and Email, get copied over, but we are losing some of our custom Buddypress fields. Is there something we need to change to get them to all copy over?
