Well, the hardest part would be to display the information each step of the way and organize it into one final entry (so your 1 and 2). Doing the e-mail notification thing might not be too difficult. I would have to look again. I can't tell you that GF would be faster than coding this from scratch, but I can tell you that it will be easier to integrate, manage, and provide better data than creating a from-scratch solution.

Thanks. Knowing how your system works, would you recommend modifying how Gravity Forms works or just creating such a solution from scratch?

Thanks,

Yes, this is definitely complex, but it could be done. We don't offer such a service, but we do have a job board forum section and many PHP/WordPress developers could create this solution for you.

Feel free to submit your request here:

I have a unique request from a client and want to know if you can help me either identify how I could use Gravity Forms to fit the need or whether you provide custom solutions such as to make it work as I need.

I have a Developer License and am not new to your powerful form plugin, but this is more complex than usual.

Summary:
My client wishes to teach a workshop online via a combination of 7 videos and 7 corresponding questions to be answered, one at a time after each video is viewed - including having a review of previously answered questions for each subsequent question.

Detail:
Student clicks a link to view the first video. When they are done, they either click a link to answer the first question (going to a separate page with form) or have the question there after the video on the same page. They are presented with one question to be answered as a paragraph text answer. They would submit that answer and then be directed to another page where the second video is to be viewed.

They would view the second video and again be prompted in some manner to answer the second question - AND - in displaying the second question, both the question and their answer to the first question would be provided above for reference. They would answer the second question and submit to be directed to the third video.

This continues to the 7th video and then 7th question to be answered, at which point they would then be viewing all previous question/answer combos. When they submit that time, their completed set of question/answers would be sent to one of 10 teaching assistants - the desired functionality being that each form submission would automatically be assigned to and sent to the next teaching assistant in line - ie. the first form assigned to and sent to teaching assistant #1, the second form assigned to and sent to ta #2, and so on.

Complex yes. Can this be done? And if not, do you offer a service to create custom solutions such as to make this work - and if so, who do I contact?

I see the main hurdles here, and there is room for creative problem solving in many ways:

1. Having 7 questions each submitted and yet part of one questionnaire;

2. Presenting previously answered question/answer combos for each subsequent question;

3. Automating a way to have each subsequent form submission go to the next in line for a given list of teaching assistant's as receivers of the form.

Feedback appreciated.

Thanks so much,
