Thanks very much for your replies. I used the merge codes to display information on confirmation page and all was going great. However when I activated the paypal addon, it no longer displays the confirmation page heading straight to paypal. Is there any way to show the confirmation page and then head to paypal? for the confirmation i used 'confirmation - text' and then merge codes.

Thanks v much for your help :)

No problem at all. It is a feature we'd like to add eventually and I'm sure at some point it will get introduced. However an auto-confirmation email can be sent as well as a confirmation screen after submit that pulls in the entered data using our merge codes drop down.

Thanks for such a quick response!

I had been using cforms, but when I hacked a custom confirmation page to display entered data, it lost the ability to perform everything else. Is this something that will happen with Gravity?

If this is not possible, is it possible to send an autoconfirmation email that contains data entered?

All of this can be done, except for item #2 out of the box. Gravity Forms does not currently support a confirmation page as a built in feature. It's a feature we would like to add in the future but it isn't something we have added yet.

Like a lot of features a confirmation page sounds pretty simple at first glance but once you get into the complexities of multi-page forms and very large number of fields it quickly becomes much more complex in how you present it. Do you let them edit it from there or do they have to click previous until they get back to the page that information was on? Etc.

So until we can focus on how to best handle this type of functionality so it makes the most sense and then implement it as a feature it's not something that is possible with Gravity Forms.

Some people have tried it by passing data dynamically to a last "step/page". In your case it might be possible to hack some sort of confirmation together, but i'm not sure what the best way to go about it would be. But you could certainly try.

I would appreciate if before buying someone could advise me that Gravity can do exactly what we need it to do...
1. A form where the user fills out fields such as date of birth, gender and uploads a photograph
2. A custom confirmation page where the user can check the entered details before buying
3. A Paypal buy now button
4. A unique id number for every order/form
5. Backend access to the data entered and option to download a Csv file

I really hope this is all possible, it seems like exactly what I've been looking for!
