You should also check your theme's functions.php file to see if they've done something to that relating to Gravity Forms.

You should check for a plugin conflict by following the advice in the following post http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

I have a custom form that was developed for me.....upon trying to check form properties it appears that all form properties have somehow been disabled. Is this possible? I uninstalled gravity forms / reinstalled, created a new form. Even with new form I cannot access any of the form properties.

I'm going to completely remove all database references to gravity forms and try again. Any ideas or things I can check other than trying a completely new install of gravity forms?

Thx
