Hi cbriere,

Many of your requirements were the same as my client's and I couldn't find anything out-of-the-box to do the job, so after I finished developing the code I went ahead and released a plugin that will automatically generate a PDF based off user-submitted data and also only send the notification email with the attached PDF after Paypal confirmed payment was made.

It's called Gravity Forms PDF Extended and you can download it from the Wordpress Plugins repository: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-pdf-extended/ and view the documentation here http://www.blueliquiddesigns.com.au/index.php/gravity-forms-pdf-extended-plugin.

1. Does Gravity Forms could do the job?
It could collect the data and save it in a database. It couldn't merge entry data with a document, nor create a PDF.

2. If not, could you be so kind to point us in the right direction to achieve our goal?
We have a Job Board available, also there are many great sites to get WordPress and PHP developers that could integrate this for you to do what you want.

3. Any workarounds to achieve the same results?
Gravity Forms is a data collection plugin, and so everything else is outside of our current feature set. We do have lots of hooks to be able to modify Gravity Forms though.

Thanks.

When reading other posts on the forum it seems that it is not a top priority for the developers. I guess we have to figure out a customized solutions ourselves :) Do you have any ideas?

Hi,

We need a plugin and/or theme that help us with document generator. Maybe you already designed it or could suggest something that could do the job.

We want that customers answer several questions by means of Gravity Form (single line,
textarea, checkboxes, conditional pulldown menus, date field, email, etc.) and then automatically incorporate those fields within a pre-defined document. Then, the system will create a PDF with the final document and save it in their account.

If they want to view/print/email the final PDF document, first they would have to pay via paypal.

In conclusion, what we want is to charge for the final document. Its just like fill in the blanks and then incorporate those fields within the template document and generate a PDF and request payment if they want to view/print/email the final document.

1. Does Gravity Forms could do the job?

2. If not, could you be so kind to point us in the right direction to
achieve our goal?

3. Any workarounds to achieve the same results?

4. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
