Hi gravityfc,

Yes, subscribers who previously subscribed and then unsubscribed will now be added to the subscription list afresh. Sorry to hear that this does not work well for your setup. :(

Up until now, if a user subscribed to our mailing list via our website (using the Gravity Forms Mailchimp add-on), and then unsubscribed via a MC unsubscribe link, and then tried to re-subscribe via our website again, MC would not re-add them to the active subscriber list. For us, this was a good behavior, as it keeps our list clean and clear. However, in the v1.9 update changelog I see:

"Updated to treat members as if they were a new subscribe request when currently set to a status on MailChimp's side of unsubscribed, pending, cleaned."

I am concerned that this will change the desired behavior I described above and will begin re-adding emails to our list that have already been "cleaned" or unsubscribed. I understand a user can decide to re-subscribe to a list after unsubscribing, but these users are more likey to flag emails in the future and are generally must less desirable for us.

Before we install the v1.9 update, can you please confirm whether the behavior vis a vis previously unsubscribed users will change due to this update? Thanks!
