Would like to +1 this as well; the above solution deletes an entry after it's been saved in the DB, and it's not automatic.

Would be nice to have it never bother saving from the start.

E.G.: email entries only.

+1 for this functionality to added. I would think this is quite a priority, as there are quite a few sites that we'd use the plugin for where the client wouldn't want any user information stored on the server. Not inside a Wordpress installation anyway.

I wonder if there is a way to delete the data from the database after it's written, with a hook? So, GF would write send the notification and write to the database, and then right after that, delete the data. You'd have to be confident in your notification process, but seems like it would be possible.

Not sure what would happen with the entry ID (I suppose it would still auto-increment since you're not truncating the table, just deleting one record.)

Is there a hook that you could use after the data is written to the database and the notification is sent to run some SQL?

Currently it isn't possible to disable saving in the database. We have discussed adding this as an advanced option in the future. So it will most likely make it into a future release.

Could this be an option for a future release? Some other form packages offer this as an option (checkbox) within their options.

Is it possible to disable the entries from being saved after the visitor submits the form?

I don't need entries to be saved on some types of forms such as general contact.

I know that I can simply delete the entries but some visitors have expressed concern that their information intended for one (routed) person may be seen by another blog admin.
