Okay, that makes more sense but it is so niche, I don't think we will be able to create this change for you. You'd likely have to hire a developer to do this for you. What I would have the developer do is include the qualifiers field in the form, as a blank hidden field. Then create a simple application based on your requirements that allows you to randomly add a value to the qualifiers field. Then another button that takes all those with a value in qualifiers and randomly selects one of them as the winner.

You could post a job like this on a site like odesk.com and probably find someone willing and able to write this customization for you.

HI David, thanks for the quick reply. We use the developer addition for all of our radio station sites.

Aside from normal forms (contact submissions and such) we also use it for contest entry.

I'll try to decsribe this to the best of my ability.

1) Say we are doing a "win a house contest". We have a typical form to collect Name, address, all contact info etc.
2) all these entries get collected as any other form does. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
3) For us as admins, when looking in the back end, under entries for "win a house contest", I'd be looking to have a button/field to "pick a qualifier from the overall pool of entries.

The overall list of entries stays untouched. Say Bob Jones, was a listed entry. He may get randomly picked and added to qualifiers, but still is in the list of entries.

Lastly, have an option to Pick a Winner, from the narrowed down "qualifiers" pool.

Obviously the Draw a Qualifier would be a random pull from Entries, and Pick a Winner would be a random pull from Qualifiers.

Does this make sense, I may not be conveying it properly.
Thanks again.

Can you give more detail on what you mean, as I don't really understand. I'm assuming you are wanting to use Gravity Forms entries as entries into a draw?

Would there be a way to add a "Draw/Pick a Qualifier" option in the backend?

For example: As entries come in each day, I would like to have the option to "pick a qualifier". This would populate another field (randomly) (Qualifiers) but not remove the entry from list of entries.

So a particular entry could reside in entries, and qualifiers.

At any given time would like to have a "Pick a winner" from Qualifiers field. This again would randomly pick a winner from the Qualifiers field.

Is this at all possible?
Thanks much
