So the first option that is being stored is actually the first option in the last drop down that is processed... even if it's hidden.</p> <p>We have noted the bug and will be correcting it in the next release. I have four different drop downs, each of them being visible based on another drop down which you will see on the screencast. For each "Military Branch" that you choose it displays a different "Rank" drop down. It does not post the hidden drop down answers just the first selection of the displayed drop down.</p> <p>At least you are seeing what I am. Double check, I have recreated this specific issue. If a conditional category field is hidden it still saves the first item. We will look into this. No matter what choice you select from the drop down it posts the first choice in the custom field of the post. In the GF Entries though, it is capturing the correct choice from the drop down.
