Until such time as a new release with this feature comes out, you can find detailed instructions on how to do it in this forum post: http://forum.gravityhelp.com/topic/exportimport-form-settings

Alternatively, if you don't mind copying your entire site, you could use the BackupBuddy plugin. Works really well and would be a good solution if you were building the form in a fairly empty site for export to another. I've done this and, as far as I can tell, the form exported perfectly.

Cheers

Never mind, I see that this is coming after 1.4 and we are on 1.3.12. Hope its still in the works.

Thanks!

Is this any closer to reality, backing up forms? Is the only thing I miss from the "other" form for wordpress.

Likewise. Would love to have this feature. Would even pay a supplemental fee for it!

I would love this feature too!!! If all goes well (moving from CForms to GF) then I need to use the form on other sites without having to rebuild or mess with database stuff. That is one advantage CForms has... it's easy to backup forms and restore on another site.

Thanks for the suggestion. We've discussed various scenarios for saving and exporting/importing forms for future releases. There's no set timetable right now, but it's something that's already on the drawing board.

OK

Would be a supercool feature if you use an identical form on several sites.

I will go ahead and play with the mysql export/import and see how much time it saves me.

Thanks again...

It's not possible as a feature built into the plugin. We plan on adding it in the future.

But you can certainly export the data from the _rg_form and _rg_form_meta tables in your MySQL database and import that data into the databases for the other sites using something like phpmyadmin.

I want to use the same GF form on several domains (100+). Would it be possible to duplicate the form and import it on another domain?

If this is not possible, let me know if you have other suggestions to accomplish this task...

Thanks...
