The link you posted is actually a very good explanation of how to do it. We can't do the work for you but we can point you in the right direction.

First. You need a form. If you have trouble creating your first form, just dig in and start clicking around. It will make sense very quickly. You can start with this documentation if you need help getting started.

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/New_Form

After you have a form, you will paste that code into your theme's functions.php file. Let's get to that point first and then go with step 3. If you need help getting this far, you might need to find someone locally who is familiar with Gravity Forms who can help you get started, or can consider hiring a consultant who can help set this up for you. You can find a list of consultants who are familiar with Gravity Forms here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/how-the-job-board-works

Hi, I want a simple content form in my sidebar of each post that will send the form to the author of the post. I also want the subject line of the email to contain the post title.

I've read the link below but i am literally none the wiser...
http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Dynamically_Populating_the_Post_Author

I can easily paste the code into my functions.php but then what? How do i make up the actual new form?

Sorry but what I need is a "omg this guy is dumb" step by step instructions, maybe a video would be the go?

I'm happy to give my admin login details if someone wants to set me up... i'm good at backward engineering to then work it out myself.

thanks heaps,
Pete
