We are also experiencing this with GoDaddy / Linux.

Have tested with other addresses and checked Ye Olde Spam Folder.

*edit - The notification function *had been* working swimmingly for weeks and seems to just recently have gone offline. I don't receive any e-mail notifications from my test registrations - user or admin.

I did get it to work, but it really takes a while for the email to come through.

The forms to email feature definitely works. I highly suggest contacting godaddy and find out why your windows server isn't delivering email to you.

Edit, with that said, have you tried the basic contact form in wordpress, does that even work for you?

-godaddy.com
-Windows
-yes
-yes
Should I send the Wordpress admin and FTP information to your Contact Us form?
Thank you for your help.

Gravity Forms also sends emails via wp_mail() however the Send From address is configurable. Depending on the Send From address you are using for your notifications, your web server may not be sending the emails. Try using the same Send From address that emails sent using the Newsletter plugin use as their Send From.

After testing with the same Send From address that your Newsletter plugin uses if it still doesn't work, send us the WordPress admin login and FTP information to us via our Contact Us form and we can take a look.

- superb.net
- windows
- no
- yes

We have a newsletter plugin installed which also uses wp_mail() to send e-mails, and it sent over 300 emails today from the site with no problem, so I don't think it is either e-mail nor server related. I have tried debugging to find out where the problem lies to no avaial.

Is it possible to provide me with an e-mail address so I can give you login details to have a look?

Thanks,

@hotels "All this other nonsense"? The only thing we ask is for users to register on the support site. Registering on the support site gives you access not only to the support forums, but all of the support resources such as Documentation, Downloads, etc. Users generally want access to these resources.

We can't provide all customers with a support e-mail address. Handling support via e-mail is much harder to manage and makes it difficult to have multiple people contributing to support. Forums are easier to manage and allow us to have multiple people providing support without bouncing emails around back and forth. It's more efficient.

There isn't a known issue with reCAPTCHA. It's a 3rd party service and can have issues now and then as it's a hosted service by reCAPTCHA. Have you entered your reCAPTCHA license keys into the Settings page? Can you post a link to your form so we can see the issue happening and inspect the HTML output?

As for your email issue, email issues are always related to web server configuration issues. Gravity Forms doesn't send the email notifications, your web server does. Gravity Forms uses the built in WordPress wp_mail() function to send email. After that it is up to your web server to actually send the email.

A couple questions regarding email...

- Who is your web host?
- Is the site hosted on a Windows or Linux server?
- Have you tried testing email notifications using different email addresses (ex. @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc.) to determine if it's email specific?
- Have you checked your spam filter to see if the email was flagged as spam?

You will have to do some troubleshooting, starting with the above to determine the notification issue. It's going to be a web server issue, not a Gravity Forms plugin issue. We can assist you in determining the problem, but ultimately it's going to be due to your web server.

I recently purchased Gravity Forms and have run into a number of issues.

First, your registration form doesn't work in Firefox. The CAPTCHA isn't appearing.

Second, I have setup the plugin but it doesn't send e-mails through to me when someone fills in the form. On the front-end it functions correctly, and it stores the submitted form in the database, but no e-mail is coming through.

Please could you let me know how to fix this as a matter of urgency. I'm slightly annoyed that you make it so difficult for paying customers to get in touch. Couldn't you just provide all customers with a support e-mail address? I don't want to have to register on forums and all this other nonsense.
