@djpechi, this is going to be related to the way mail from your host is marked, and the rules on the receiving email server (be that hotmail, gmail, yahoo, whatever.) One thing you can do is try an SMTP plugin so that mail from your site is sent via an SMTP server rather than your web server's php mail() function. Here is one such plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

If you install and configure that and still have trouble, you'll have to try some other things. Please let us know after you install and configure an SMTP plugin how things go.

Hello I'm having the same issue here.

Have a multisite, with domain map. (example.com) where I just changed the "A record" of the domain to point to my multisite server. The MX and mail and other records remain the same, meaning that the email is in another server.

When I fill a form and send it to the example.com domain, nothing happens. (Dont receive mail). But when using another adresses (with different domain than example.com). I get it perfectly. what could be happening?

What setting do I have to check in my hosting, or how do I explain this to support in hosting?

Thank you

meleighsmith - thank you, that info is helpful. Do I need to go to where the email is hosted or where the website is hosted for the setting?

I experienced a similar problem when our website was hosted in a different location than our email. I needed to log into the cpanel of the website hosting and change a setting to allow the website form to send to an email address that was hosted outside of their system. Not a Gravity Forms issue at all, purely a hosting / email account setting issue. Hope that helps if anyone else experiences similar problems.

I am having the same issue with one site. I have used this on 50 other sites with no issue. I believe it is due to it being a google business account and only due to this recent update. Anything new yet?!

If WordPress is sending any e-mails at all, then it is either a Server issue or an E-mail host issue, neither of these are things we can do anything about as Gravity Forms is working. Maybe you are tripping spam filters somewhere along the line, I'm not certain, but you'll need to take to your e-mail provider or web host.

We are having a similar problem with Google Apps and have not been able to resolve it. It is happening with 2 different hosts same email domain. Maybe 1 out of 30 will arrive, we notice the problem more with groups (sales@xyz.com) than with individual emails from the same domain.

Gravity Forms doesn't do any filtering of notifications. Gravity Forms takes the data from the form and sends it to WordPress' built-in wp-mail.php function. If you can send mail to Gmail addresses, then it is most likely a server issue and I would recommend contacting your host, explaining what you are trying to do and see if they can find any reason why you would be unable to send e-mail from WordPress from your own domain.

Yes, of course the info email account has been created on the webhost (we'd have to have the email set up to know that it's not receiving those emails but receiving other ones) but it's not receiving any of the emails from the contact form on the website. I've had this happen with another account as well...where the email account of the domain is not receiving anything from gravity forms, but is receiving all email otherwise (http://alliancedirecthm.com/). Same thing....if we set the admin email to a gmail account, they receive the notification of a new entry, but if we set it to one of the accounts of the domain, they don't.
