Yes, emails have to be entered and separated by commas in most situations. This is standard practice with anything involving email. However, it is also web server dependent and apparently your web server requires it.

You also shouldn't enter multiple email addresses in the Send To, you should make use of the BCC field which does say in it's tooltip that they must be separated by a comma. Not all web servers support multiple email addresses in the Send To field. Gravity Forms doesn't send the emails, your web server handles this part so some web servers have limitations and quirks that we can't always take into account.

So get this... I was entering the email addresses in the sent to section with spaces and not commas. This was the problem. No server configuration. Guys, make notes in the tool for Gravity Forms so no one has to ask or go through this again.

Thanks,
Barry

I installed WP Mail and the test works but STILL I DO NOT receive anything from the form. What do you suggest now?? I'll also say that I spent some time on the phone with HostGator and they installed something saying that they believe will help. I asked about this and they replied that Gravity Forms is written in pearl so what they installed will allow pearl to run?

What do I do guys?
Thanks,

Email notification issues are always web server configuration issues. The email is sent by your web server, not Gravity Forms. I would suggest installing and configuring the WP Mail SMTP plugin which will configure your WordPress site to send email using SMTP which is a more reliable method of sending email.

You can find this plugin here:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

You will have to check with your web host on the proper SMTP settings which you configure on the Settings page of the WP Mail SMTP plugin.

The WP Mail SMTP plugin also has a "Test Email" feature that lets you send a test email to check to see if your SMTP settings are correct. Once the "Test Email" works, so will your email notifications. The "Test Email" will also show you a status, including errors, so you can find out why the email is failing if it is not being sent.

Hello, I have setup notifications and it's not working. I've also attempted to find resolution by reading through some posts. My email is hosted by HostGator. My website is http://www.paulreverehomes.com

I did login to my Cpanel webmail to check to see if any spam had been collected in the folder but there is none. What do I do?

I would like to also specify more than 1 email address in the send to email field. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Barry
