There is a standard input type of password which masks the input using asterisks. Enabling this changes the input type of the field from text, to password. It doesn't do any validation, it simply uses the type="password" for the input.</p> <p>It is not what is used with the User Registration Add-On. I can't find any documentation about this function -- either within Gravity Forms (via tooltip), in these forums or on the web. My hunch is it either integrates with the User Registration Plugin or perhaps is a 1.5 feature that isn't completely finished.</p> <p>Any insight would be appreciated! </p>
