It is something that can be done with custom code, but it isn't something we have a snippet readily available for because it has never been requested. It falls into the realm of customization and you would either have to write the code yourself to do this or hire a WordPress consultant with Gravity Forms customization experience to do so for you.</p> <p>We provide lots of custom code snippets, how-tos and guidance on how to do things but it really depends on how involved the customization is. If it's something we can do in a few minutes, we typically have no problem helping the user out. Ideally there would be an optional drop down list of categories to choose a parent category from.<br /> I've been trying to do this with the quick post widget, but it won't work with buddypress for some reason.</p> <p>Thanks,<br /> Dan </p>
