In that case, please check for theme and plugin conflicts by using these instructions http://rkt.gs/testing

If you have the error on the front end of the site but not the form preview, it's usually due to a theme or plugin conflict.

That is correct without AJAX.

If you test the form in the form preview with IE7 or IE8, do you get the same error?

Hi Chris,

I have the following as my shortcode for embedding the form in my post…

[gravityform id="109" name="Wedding Ideas Awards 2013 - Voting" title="false" description="false"]

Is this correct to load it without ajax?

James

The form does not even appear in IE9. I had to use Firefox to even see that there is a form embedded.

Line 9 in the source of that page was blank. Was there another filename listed where the error was on line 9?

Error 80020101 is an AJAX request error from IE. Are you using AJAX in the shortcode or however you embedded the form? If so, can you disable that and test again?

Hello,

we have a voting form being inserted into a post on our website that for some reason is giving us errors in IE 7-8 (haven't tried 9). The issue doesn't arise in FF, Safari or Chrome (surprise, surprise)

The problem I have is that I have no way of working out what the error means.

'Could not complete the operation due to error 80020101'

The error alert also tells me their is a syntax error on line 9, Char 15 of the page in question.

The page is http://www.weddingideasmag.com/wedding-ideas-awards-2013-voting-form/

Can someone please help asap as this is haveing a knock on effect with our voting :-(

Thanks,

James
