There are two third party add-ons for creating PDFs from Gravity Forms on the WordPress Extend Plugins site. One was linked to previously and there is also - http://wordpress.org/plugins/gravity-forms-pdf-extended/

This is not everything you want, filling in a PDF with submitted form data from the entry, but it's the most complete "create a PDF from an entry" solution I've seen posted yet.

http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/document-generator-integrated-with-gravity-forms-and-paypal#post-74603

Thanks for the quick reply Chris, I have seen the "Extended PDF" plugin, to be clear, our need, and the need that others are expressing, is the ability to populate an existing PDF.

Our specific need surrounds loading a pdf provided by a government agency with data from a gravity form submission. Then exporting that pdf for other uses, such as printing it out and submitting it.

Any help specific to that, is appreciated.

Even better would be to be able to choose an existing PDF, add where you want the form fields and then have the PDF auto-generated based on rules within Gravity Forms.

I'm in need of the ability to do just that as well. There's actually a number of people requesting just that: auto-populate an existing PDF document.

If anyone can provide any insights as to getting this done, please let me know!

The ability to export form data to a PDF would be great. Even better would be to be able to choose an existing PDF, add where you want the form fields and then have the PDF auto-generated based on rules within Gravity Forms.
For example, a user completes a form on my website and in one of the fields chooses Auto Insurance. That choice alerts the plugin that the Auto Insurance PDF needs to be populated with the entries from Gravity Forms that correspond to the fields we've placed on the existing PDF.

PDF feature would be great. The third party plugin does not work very well and has bugs.

In addition to this add-on mentioned above is there any plans to add PDF as a notification option... ie When a form is "submitted" rather than have the form fields sent as an HTML email, you could have them sent as a PDF attachment... or even better, as both HTML + PDF attachment.
