Oh, and thanks Kevin for jQuery idea. Today, you can find tonnes of slide out tabs for this sort of thing. If anyone else needs a simple shortcode to hand such, just check out CodeCanyon. That's where I got mine.

Thanks again for GravityForms, it's the shizniz.

Thanks, but screenshot images don't help me at all here. I need to view the page markup and CSS.

I'll be happy to take a quick look if you share a URL to the form page, but as I mentioned before, this is a customization and not a normal form support request, so you may want to consider hiring a developer to help you finish it up.

@rfm1999

Please post a URL to your form page so we can check it out. It sounds like you may have added some incorrect markup that's breaking your page layout. I can't tell you without seeing the page though.

@rfm1999

I really don't understand what you're asking for now. Since this is really a customization and not a support issue, I'd recommend contacting a good developer to help you get everything finished. You can find a good list of developers with Gravity Forms experience at the site linked below.

I'm assuming you mean that each section denoted by a section break would be a tab. If so, many tab scripts us div tags or other containing elements around the content to implement the functionality.

You could use the inline HTML blocks to wrap content in fieldsets or divs if you want. You have to be a little creative with the markup & placement but it's not difficult to do. Here's a post that details how I added fieldset containers to a form.. you should be able to modify that slightly for divs instead.

http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/fieldsets#post-17019

I can't really be any more specific than that. It all depends on which tab script you use and how they chose to implement it. You should be able to do it with a little work and creative use of the HTML fields.

@rfm1999

You don't need an add-on for Gravity Forms to do tabs. You can do that with jQuery/CSS in your theme. There are tons of scripts out there to do it.. ( http://bit.ly/ivytEg ) even some tab functionality built directly into the jQuery UI package.

http://jqueryui.com/demos/tabs/

or maybe one like this..

http://www.building58.com/examples/tabSlideOut.html

I'm assuming you want to put different forms in different tabs.. this wouldn't work for a multi-page form if that's what you were thinking. You would simply create your tabs, then embed the forms into the newly created tab containers/divs.

If you're not very comfortable using jQuery/HTML/CSS etc., then you might consider using a pre-built WordPress plugin to add the tab functionality, then embed the form shortcodes in the tab areas as needed.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-post-tabs/

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-tabs-slides/
