That makes sense, however, Gravity Forms is not set up to work like that. There is no two way communication.

Thank you. Yeah, it is basically:

1. Client completes form field "Do you want fries with that?" with the answer "yeah please, salted"
2. The form is submitted. Down the line, I want to respond to that exact response. So I type in a comment form: "how were your fries? Would you like us to send you a free meal voucher?"
3. Client can respond, and we have a discussion

Each field completed in the form is a basis for discussion

Does that make sense?

No, I'm sorry, I'm still not sure. Who is discussing things? Are we discussing what a user has entered into the form? Is it like:

Do you like sunny days? Yes / No (Radio Button)
Explain: _________________ (Text Box)

No matter what though, there is no system to respond, and build conversation. Gravity Forms collects data from visitors/users and pushes it to the back end.

Not sure I'm explaining myself well.

Say that gravity forms has produced that front end post. Say there were ten fields, and each answer is posted in a list. I would like for there to be the ability to make further comment on each answer in that list - so that a discussion can ensue about each response.

Do you see what I mean?

Gravity Forms can create WordPress posts, which could be then discussed through normal WordPress comments, but beyond that, there is no way to use Gravity Forms as a discussion system currently.

Imagine Basecamp. People can comment on each discussion. I'm thinking each form field becomes the head of a discussion, which can the be commented on.

If not, I'm thinking I could perhaps add the standard comments form to a page on which the initial form is published?

Gravity Forms doesn't have any kind of front-end comment system, and I'm having a hard time visualizing your example.

Hi there.

Is there any way to enable comments on a form field, please?

The example would be that someone completes a form with a number of fields, and when complete on the front end a discussion can be had (in some kind of comments system, I'm thinking) on each of those fields individually.

Hope someone can help.

Best wishes, Andrew.
