&#60;p&#62;In the Entry Detail it turns the path into a link.  If you use the All Fields variable in your Notification emails it turns the path into a link automatically.  The actual field value isn't a link, it's simply a path to the file.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Turning it into a link would be the task of whatever code is being used to display that path.
