When someone uploads a file that is too large, there is no error message alerting them of the issue. (The file's not in the GF uploads folder on the ftp server either.) To the submitter it looks like it worked because the form clears, but the entry is not submitted. I am losing clients this way - unless they happen to ring me to chase up, I have no idea they've attempted contact. </p>
