Thank you!

For some reason I didn't get an email notification that you'd replied.

I'll be purchasing two forms for my client, then.

Thanks again for your assistance :-)

Yes absolutely there is a way to automate the deletion of the data after being written to the database and emailed in the notification. That is the link I posted, but you won't be able to read it until you purchase the plugin, which you should do, ASAP :-)

This is the link:
http://forum.gravityhelp.com/topic/purposefully-not-save-form-in-entries-database

It's a small bit of code to add to your theme's functions.php that will delete the entry from the database.

Thank you for your reply :-)

Do you mean there's a way to *automate* the deletion of the data after submission via email? The site owner is a busy doctor and it wouldn't be good if her staff had to log in every day to manually delete form data :-(

Here's the link on how to delete the entry after submission, so no data is stored:

http://forum.gravityhelp.com/topic/purposefully-not-save-form-in-entries-database

You won't be able to see that, I don't think, until you make the purchase and have access to the forums. There is a simple solution posted there.

Notifications can be sent to whatever email address you want, and that email address is not posted on the site or in the form. It's configured in the Gravity Forms admin.

The data *will be* stored on the site though. You can protect the form entries from viewing by WordPress user role, or you can delete the data after submission if you trust that the notification with all the form data arrived fine.

There are several places on these forums where there was a request to not store data or at least delete the data after submission. I'd post the link but I don't think you would be able to see it until after purchasing, to get access to those forums.

Can the form data be sent to a designated email address and not posted on the website? My interest is having the form data sent to the site owner, encrypted with SSL, and not stored on the site for privacy reasons. I want the data to have maximum privacy protection.

Thank you!
