That would be used to allow 10 entries to a form, for example, then no more submissions would be allowed, if you set the limit to 10. Is that box checked?</p> <p>If not, what version of Gravity Forms are you using, and can you post a link to the page where the form is located? Near the title when you are editing the form, click the "edit" then go to the Advanced tab and see if "Schedule form" is checked. When that's checked, and you enter an end date that has already passed, you will get that message.
