I have the problem where the forms menu item isn't there for admins in a multi-site setup. As super-admin I can see everything but a regular site admin can't see the forms item. I do have members installed already. Can you give me any tips for how to get the forms to show up?

Thanks,
Kiko

OK, please do update us if it happens to you again. It's not a common problem by any means.

There have been instances of other menu items disappearing when Gravity Forms is activated, but it was due to a hard-coded menu position in that case. There was a conflict and one of the menu items disappeared.

I haven't installed the members plugin yet. I will attempt to upgrade to the new gravity version again with error logs enabled to see if I can find a clue for you as to what is happening.

Depending on the order you install the Gravity Forms plugin and the Members plugin, you can lose the Forms menu. At that point, you need to configure the Members plugin to give the administrator role access to all the Gravity Forms capabilities. Then you will have your Forms menu back.

We are hiring a web designer to work on our site, but we don't want them to have access to the form entries. How do we restrict this?

You can download Members which Gravity Forms integrates with right out of the box. You could then assign the web designer a role that does not have the "view" and "delete" entries capabilities.

Finally, upgrading to the next version, 1.6.2 from 1.6.1, causes us to lose the gravity forms plugin.

Could you provide any additional information on what is happening when you upgrade? Do you see an error message? or is the "Forms" menu completely gone?
