You probably want to allow unfiltered_html permissions to Authors (or whatever level you are comfortable with.) However, this allows nearly ALL HTML. You have to decide if that's a good idea for you.

I use the Members plugin from Justin Tadlock do modify roles and permissions in situations like this.
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members/

Other people use the Role Scoper or Role Manager:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/role-scoper/

You only need one. You can search for others here:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=roles

Non-admins do not normally have the capability to post HTML or JavaScript. Is that what's going on here?

Hello...

I set up my gravity form to upload a video file then auto post the form info and video to my site when you submit the form...
http://viewmygopro.com/upload-your-video/

it works good if i am logged into wordpress as admin... there are no problems...

it DOESNT work if im not logged in... it will post a photo ok, but when it trys to post the video it just displays some code for the flash player... but no flash player pops up... http://viewmygopro.com/gopro/fdsafdf/

do you know why the video post would work fine when im logged in as an admin, but not work correctly when i am logged out...

any help would be appreciated

Thanks
