Instead of using complete password protection for your entire site, you could use a membership plugin to protect everything but the page with the form (you could style that page however you like as Carl mentions) and you could make that page the homepage (under the site's Reading settings). Then you can iframe that page in on another site.</p> <p>However, depending on how you have password protected your site that may pose a problem because if the page with the form you are framing in requires a password... then it won't display. </p> <p>So it would be possible, but it just depends on how you go about your implementation. Till now we have created each post by hand and initially just saw Gravity Forms a way to really tie down the format. But after a little thought we realised we could get the contacts themselves to create their own entries.</p> <p>However, the full install of WP we use as contact manager needs to stay behind a password as now and unseen by the new contact. The only thing a new contact would see would be the form they fill in.</p> <p>Can a form be hosted on one WP install but post to another or exist as just an independant HTML page we can host wherever? </p>
