I am sure there are plugins that can lock down pages/posts based on if a user is logged in and a certain level, but that would be outside of Gravity Forms. Using our Payment and User Registration add-on, you can have it set so that if they don't pay their subscription, then they automatically get changed to a different user level.

Thanks for the update, it's good to hear you figured it out, I will leave the second part of your question for the Gravity Forms team as I don't have any experience in using it in that way.

Ok got it!

1) followed Richard's advice (thank you)

2) went through form and cleaned up code
3) previewed in GF and everything worked fine
4) But still did not work on website
5) went to plug ins on my own website and deactivated the last plug in that was installed; this is called WordPress HTTPS (which is a plug in for sites using SSL that forces them to do something)
6) everything worked fine with the form when the plug was deactivated
7) updated bad plug in and set a new setting in the back end
8) everything seems to be running fine

thank you all

I am working on it right now

Appreciate the help

Any thoughts on part 2 of my question:

And a totally unrelated question and one that I have been researching and would like your opinion: how effective would it be to use Gravity forms as a membership plugin? I see you can link to PayPal and Aweber, but was wondering how one could protect content in a membership that has different levels of access (gold, silver, platinum)

What Richard suggets above is all very valid and are great first steps in trying to identify where a problem might be. Let us know what you find out.

Richard

Thanks for the help and I will look at those things you suggest.....and clean up my work

But why we went from a state of working to not working is unclear

was hoping to get some input from GF admin folk as well

I know you said nothing on the site has changed but you should try testing for a plugin/theme conflict by following this advice http://rkt.gs/testing

Does the same thing happen when previewing the form in the form builder in WP Admin, does the same thing happen with and without ajax enabled.

When looking at the source code for your site I noticed that many of your html fields contain invalid markup, the following is from field 87, lines 1,2,3,7 and 8 should be removed

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>

<img src="https://cdn-arladvisersllc.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/comodo_secure_113x59_white1.png?84cd58" alt="SSL Secure" width="90" height="47" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 300px"/>

</body>
</html>

Regards,

My form that I created many months ago was doing fine...it is about 110 drag and drop boxes long that translates into an 8 page survey that takes 5 minutes to complete

To my knowledge, the form was functioning fine; we have not made any changes to website (https://www.arladvisers.com/); form can be accessed here: https://www.arladvisers.com/?page_id=892#gf_1

Here is the problem I discovered last night:
1) complete the first page of the form
2) click on "Next" button and the form takes you back to the beginning of the form
3) in other words, you cannot get off of the first page

thanks for the help

And a totally unrelated question and one that I have been researching and would like your opinion: how effective would it be to use Gravity forms as a membership plugin?
