You should be able to create the form without special characters and then update it with special characters. Our development team is looking into fixing this in the future, but it is currently an issue without any other workaround.

Has there been any progress regarding this topic, our problem is exactly the same. Our wordpress installation is Swedish and the form title gets all mangled up with accented characters åäö etc ...

I just bought Gravity Forms and made a form with the form title "Äktenskapsförord". I got very surpriced this morning when the form showed up as "u00c4ktenskapsfu00f6rord"

Can't Gravity Forms handle special characters? I was under the impression that it could.
