There is nothing you can do to speed it up. Upload time is going to depend on 3 factors:

- Size of the file
- Speed of your server
- Speed of the users internet

There is nothing Gravity Forms can do to speed up the upload. The AJAX spinner lets the user knows that the form is still processing.

The upload performance is at the mercy of the 3 factors I outline above.

One feature we do plan on adding after the release of WordPress 3.3 is a more advanced file upload field that supports multiple files at once and displays a progress bar for the upload. But we are waiting for WordPress 3.3 so that we can take advantage of built in functionality in that upcoming release to implement this functionality in Gravity Forms.

I have a form on my self-hosted WP site that uses the Pay-Pal plugin and allows the user to upload a video. Unfortunately, when the form is submitted, it takes a LONG TIME to submit. To make it even worse, there is no indication that the form is still working - other than the browser's pinwheel. It is very confusing. So much so that the first couple times I tested my own form I gave up and closed out of it.

Is there ANYTHING I can do speed it up? This is one of the main reasons I purchase Gravity forms, and the way it stands now, I don't know if it's usable.
