Unfortunately the forms still don't work for some people. I have no idea why. The Main Contact form (http:directory-sexy.com/contact) works fine. Its my other forms that just don't work for everyone.

Looks like I'll have to build all my forms out by hand to make sure they work. Stinks because I really like Gravity Forms. Feel like I wasted $100 :( Not that it is any fault your plugin or code.

Thanx for all the help!

That did the trick. Uninstalled and reinstalled. But I had to get rid of the form paging - not really a big deal. For some reason it wasn't letting the ajax form confirmation message display or the confirmation email come through. It seems to be working great now. I'll have a few of my cohorts test it out to be sure but it looks like all is well :)

Very odd, i've never seen that happen before. I'm not entirely sure what to do. I would suggest making sure Gravity Forms is in your plugins folder and remove it from plugins-old. Other than that i'm not 100% sure what you can do. Uninstall and reinstall could work.

Just figured it out. I had a plugin conflict during development and I moved all my plugins to a folder called "plugins-old." For some reason - not sure why - some of my plugins are now located in "plugins-old" even though that folder does not exist. Can I do a find and replace on the DB to put plugins and not plugins-old as the plugin directory for these plugins? Or do I have to uninstall and reinstall?

Thanx

Sounds like something is wrong with your site on a server/file level, this could be an .htaccess problem. It shouldn't be giving you a 404 error if Gravity Forms is installed and activated, because the files would exist.

OK, new info.....

I tried to go in and edit my forms, but it takes me to the front end of the site and gives me an error message - my 404.php file. Why would it now take me to the front end as it never did this before - during development.

Now I am really confused??????

Thanx again

We've never seen any .htaccess rules conflict with the paging. If it was an .htaccess rule of some sort then the issue would be happening all the time. The fact that you are unable to replicate it, and neither are we (multiple people on our team tried and were unable to) is a bit confusing because if you can't replicate an issue you can't fix it. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong.

Thanx. I just got the confirmation of registration. I checked my URLs and file paths and none of them point to a local or dev area. I'm stumped. I'll see if I can get a few others to test out the forms. I had a similar problem using ContactForm7 plugin which is why I switched to Gravity Forms. But it seems that this issue might be somewhere else in my code/site.

I do have the registration forms as downloadable PDFs but most visitors don't wish to do that.

Thanx again.

Just had a thought... Could any of my .htaccess rules conflict with the paging of the forms? If you need to see them I can post them here.

I'm unable to reproduce any issues.

I tested the form in Safari, FireFox and Chrome. I submitted it fully using Chrome and FireFox, but didn't submit the final page in Safari but was able to complete all the other pages I just didn't submit the final page as I had already submitted multiple tests.

I'm not able to reproduce any issues in a variety of browsers and we are at different locations on different internet providers, etc. so i'm not really sure what to tell you. It's not going to work differently for different users. It's either going to work or it's not, and it's working every time for me.

It's possible your web server may have been experiencing issues and that could be the problem. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the form itself.

The form seemed to be working fine in the different browsers I tested. I completed a form submission successfully in FireFox just now.

screenshot: http://bit.ly/pj4iam

and received the confirmation email as I should

screenshot: http://bit.ly/r4Evwq

I'm not sure why it would have worked for you and not others unless you had some scripts/file paths that pointed to your local machine or a non-public development area.
